We’re about fantastic floral design, exquisite ideas, friendly personal service and the best quality flowers we can get our hands on.

It’s not all playing with pretty flowers; its hard work, cold and involves lots of early mornings! The buzz of delivering a surprise bouquet to a delighted 80 year old lady, the satisfaction of creating real wow factor for an event and the heartfelt thank you from a gorgeous bride on her wedding day, make it all worth while. We’ve put our hearts and souls into our business for the past 4 years and we find much pleasure watching it succeed and grow. Our snazzy new website, gorgeous new premises, ever growing wedding diary and extensive client list are testament to all the hard work. Our philosophy has always been "the freshest flowers, beautifully designed", and beyond that, the friendly personal service we pride ourselves on.

No two days are ever the same at Elegant Stems and it’s not all pretty flowers and being creative. Sweeping the floor, cleaning out buckets and empting the bins can’t be forgotten! Some days start with a 5am trip to the flower market to stock up, a surreal experience as you leave a sleeping town and arrive in a busy, noisy cold-room. We draw inspiration from colours, shapes and textures, load up the van and the buckets in the workshop are filled with fresh flowers by breakfast! Other days we’ll be decorating a church, filling a reception with flowers and making countless buttonholes. Many evenings we’ll be in serious discussions with brides, discussing colour combinations, building mood boards, planning dream days.
