Something was happening at Quendon Hall last year… the wedding bug was catching and all the staff were getting married and engaged!

Our lovely friend Danielle from the sales team at Quendon Hall married her man Geoff in her dream wedding day this September, and we were honoured to create the flowers for this most special day.

As part of the Sales team for the beautiful Essex venue, Parklands, Danielle has seen countless weddings take place on the site, so she had so many wonderful ideas to really make this day her own. Not only was the wedding a thing of absolute beauty, Danielle also made the most stunning bride!

Danielle’s bouquet was hand-tied, neat and round with a trailing ribbon and bow. We filled it with daisies, dusky pink roses, blush pink spray roses, fragrant garden roses, ivory freesia and eucalyptus.

Her beautiful bridesmaids, wearing dusky pink, held simple hand-tied bouquets bursting with little daisies, blush spray roses and a mass of gypsophila while her adorable younger bridesmaid, dressed in white to mirror the bride, held a matching flower wand.

Not forgetting, of course, the bridesman who wore the same shade of pink and decorated his suit with a gorgeous buttonhole made using the same flowers as in the bouquets! Dressed in dark grey with dusky pink waistcoats, the groom and his best men all wore matching buttonholes too.

The ceremony area was setup with a geometric copper pipe backdrop decorated with flowers, with a flower-filled garland taking centre-stage on the new white registrar’s table. The dusky pink and blush tones that decorated the captivating backdrop were warm, romantic, and so pretty. We were able to replicate this wonderful atmosphere in the Pavilion by moving the showstopping displays into the reception space for all to see and smell once again!

During the reception, our gold metal riser stands stood tall with scented flowers to match the theme and with hanging tea light globes. Everyone commented on the smell around the venue, which was largely thanks to the garden roses and freesia!

What an emotional day this was, seeing Geoff and Danielle become husband and wife! You can see photographs below of the couple’s special day, taken by the fabulous Tom Halliday.
